8K video, 108 megapixel sensor... the expected novelties on the Galaxy S11 camera

A beta version of Samsung's camera app betrays several new features. They should be present on Samsung's next high-end model.

Samsung's next flagship betrayed by beta 2.0 from One UI. In this new version of the overlay, the SamMobile site has seen many references to photo and video functions still nonexistent. They could be launched on the future Galaxy S11, early 2020.

The one named "Director's View" allows you to take stock and lock on a particular subject and to change who is in close-up. This module can also allow simultaneous recording from multiple camera lenses, which the Filmic Pro application already offers on the iPhone 11 Pro.

According to the references found in the code of the APK, "Single Take Photo" will capture a scene in a "series of photos and short videos". This is made possible by panning with the phone in a slow, steady motion for 15 seconds.

    Native 8K video?

As the name suggests "Night Hyperlapse" will likely to make accelerated videos in low light. Same for the very speaking "Vertical Panoramas" to capture a panoramic scene vertically.

Finally, the Galaxy S11 could also take advantage of the capacity of the next Exynos 990 SoC to be able to film in 8K definition, already supported by some models of televisions of Samsung.

For this, the brand's 108 megapixel sensor, already integrated in the last Mi Note 10 of Xiaomi, could appear on the Galaxy S11.
