Apple will finally allow to delete its history of requests Siri

Apple will finally allow to delete its history of requests Siri

After all its competitors, Apple will offer an option in iOS 13.2 to erase the requests made to his voice assistant. It will also be possible to refuse the transmission of the recordings to the company.

Apple wants to keep its promise. In the beta version of iOS 13.2, the company has finally integrated an option to completely remove the history of its requests to Siri. Above all, it is now possible to refuse to transmit certain audio recordings of his requests to Apple.

    Maximum privacy

In addition to a new topic that appears in the privacy options, Apple will notify the owner of the iPhone in the early stages of device configuration. He will thus be able to choose to keep his requests entirely confidential.

The other new option which proposes to delete the Siri application history is, on the other hand, somewhat radical. By activating it, all the requests will be erased. On Google Assistant and Amazon, it is possible to delete some queries and not others.

    The American giants all listening

During the summer of 2019, Apple - like its competitors Google, Amazon and Microsoft - was pinned for having made subcontractors listen to some anonymized audio recordings. None of the companies had warned customers of such a practice. Apple then promised a function to refuse this treatment of a private information by a human.
